Flawed

I'm not perfect, although I think I am. Let me write this from the point of a realist rather than the idealist that I am.

There are certain qualities about me that some people like, some people hate, I obviously do not have any problem with them. But sometimes when I behave in what has come to be known as "typical adi" over the years, I wonder if it is a good thing or a bad thing.

I can be pigheaded and arrogant and say I'm perfect the way I am and not give a hoot about what people which in most cases is the way to go. But what if there are somethings that really need to be fine tuned. What do you think should I do ? For now I'll go with the flow since I'm at peace with myself.
Here's some more food for thought - Is going with the flow a good policy to follow ?

adi,i admire & look upto you for the way you are. everyone has good and bad qualities in them, you have very few bad things and thats what makes you special. so dont change one bit :)

We can't be liked by everyone and we should be accepting that fact... the earlier, the better. Our life shapes us what we are. It's upto us whether we look back and learn from our experiences... So therefore, IMHO I suggest you should go with the flow but again, don't let the flow overtake the 'real' in you!

yeah u tend to be a bit lazy at times..or atleast ppl presume to be so.. nd for all those who think so.. lemme tell.. Adi is lazy only only wen hez on the so-called 18 sqft of heaven (read "his cot").. once u manage to get his ass off it (which i m sure is a herculean task in itself)... hez a diff person totally.. i m sure atleast his roomies in NITIE wud agree.. :P

George Bernard Shaw once said that all reasonable men adapt themselves to the world.only a few unreasonable ones persist in trying to adapt the world to themselves. and all progress in this world depends on these unreasonable men and their new and often revolutionary actions".
so macha don't give a rats ass! about what others think about you. you arer what you are! and nobody can change that!

Society is a crazy thing dude. It never lets u be urself. Give it a damn. You can never please everyone in this world. So you choose whom you will be pleasing, so that you can build up good relationships. But always have an ear for people that are really close to your heart, coz they tell you when you err and they want to u to change for yourself, not for themselves. And I would say go with flow plus enjoy it! From whatever little amount of life I have seen, I would say that is the best policy :)

Cheers

Hi...I saw u at NITIE some days ago when I came there for my GDPI...
then i saw ur blog and liked reading it...
But all these comments above seem like a paradox..
All people here are telling you not to listen to what others say..
So..now will u listen to what all these people said and not listen to any other person???...but then u will be listening to what other people in this blog said or advised u to do!!!!! isn't it???
:-)

@ Arunkumar - The people are all very close friends, so I will listen to them. Otherwise I use my discretion if I the advice is from strangers. Its called Discretionary Filtration my friend. All the best with your result.

Every person is eccentric in his own way and it is this eccentricity that makes one stand out. We all change with time, but there is something at the core of every person that never changes. So go ahead and improve with the flow, and keep a watch for where you are heading.
